Fancy, body-contoured travel pillows aren’t for everyone.
If all you’re looking for is a quality, no-frills, conventional pillow, then the Aller-Ease travel pillow is perfect for you.
Backed by the Good Housekeeping seal, this pillow is “evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Institute and has been assessed to perform as intended.”
In other words, you can feel safe in the purchase of an Aller-Ease travel pillow.
Coming in at 14 inches x 20 inches, the Aller-Ease travel pillow truly is a compact conventional pillow.
It’s also very well-constructed. All of the seams on my test pillow were in place, tight, and did not budge even when I applied considerable pressure to them.
As far as materials go, the pillow’s outer cover is 100% cotton, while the inside stuffing is made of 100% hypoallergenic Polyester fiber.
Built in to the pillow are pollen and pet dander barriers, which prevent the accumulation of such allergens on and inside of the pillow.
While the Aller-Ease travel pillow is not designed to be an especially firm pillow, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-stuffed it is – it’s not flat at all.
The travel pillow does not come with any kind of pillow case, but can be used easily without one.
The Aller-Ease travel pillow is listed here on Amazon.com.
In my opinion, the pricing range is an absolute steal for the quality travel pillow you will be getting in return.
For those who don’t have room in the budget for a top-of-the-line, premium travel pillow, the Aller-Ease travel pillow is the perfect compromise.
The Aller-Ease travel pillow really speaks for itself.
With no frills or special features, what you see is what you get: a sturdy, compact, comfortable, conventional pillow.
I’ve found that it can be used in a variety of ways as well. It’s the perfect size for a toddler’s first pillow, and it’s also a great addition to a bed lacking smaller pillows that can be held or used for, say, lumbar or leg support.
This, to me, is what makes the price point especially attractive: you’re not just buying a travel pillow, but a pillow that can be used and incorporated around the home as well.
The main reason I’m a fan of the Aller-Ease travel pillow, though, is it’s anti-allergen properties.
I suffer from a whole host of allergies, from corn pollen, to tree pollen, to dog dander, to cat dander, and everything in between.
Using the Aller-Ease travel pillow makes me feel secure in knowing that it’s doing all it can to repel these allergens from sitting on or inside the pillow.
And if I feel like it is getting dirty in any capacity, the Aller-Ease can easily be plopped into standard washer/dryer machines for a like-new pillow following a standard wash and dry cycle.
Bottom Line: The Aller-Ease Travel Pillow is the perfect travel pillow for those on a budget, or for those not interested in fancier around-the-neck or otherwise body-contoured travel pillows. You really can’t go wrong with trying this sturdy pillow out.
